From 14 to 25 October 2025, NEONYSIA’s UNDERMINED comes alive at The Baxter’s Masambe Theatre.

Directed by multi-award winning Tara Notcutt, three actors take you on a journey from Mozambique to South Africa. UNDERMINED is a true story of one man’s bravery, perseverance, and extraordinary gift. NEONYSIA

When they approached me to outfit them for the stage, I was honoured to design their performance boiler suits. Functional, bold, and symbolic of the grit beneath the story. Now we’re taking that energy into your everyday wardrobe, with an interactive twist.

🎨 The Colour-In T-Shirt Project

In collaboration with local visual artist Jasmine (@a.llthatjazz), we’ve transformed the stage’s spirit into wearable art. Each limited-edition T-shirt is printed with comic book designs inspired by the themes and visuals of UNDERMINED, crafted so you can finish the piece:

Use fabric markers, textile paints, or any colours you love to bring it to life.

No rules, no right or wrong. Make it messy, make it neat, make it wild.

The canvas is yours. You take the lead.

Wear it out, wash it, colour it again. It’s a living piece.

This isn’t just show merch, it’s a co-creation between STILES, NEONYSIA, Jasmine, and YOU.

Why This Collab Matters

Performance roots: These T-shirts stem from the same visual/physical language I used in the boiler suits for Undermined.

Narrative continuity: The colour-in art grows out of the show’s design: motifs, angles, textures that echo the theatre production’s imagery.

Community & voice: By adding your own touch, you become a participant, not just an audience or consumer.
